When “Saturday Night Live” decide to do a single billing, with performance doubling as host and musical guest, and I always feel worried. It’s not that people can not pull double duty, but I sometimes wonder why they do double duty: Do it particularly good at both, or because they (like Jennifer Lopez) hot on both film and album to promote at the same time, all in need to an hour and a half promotional machine to do justice? As expected, Lopez is able to play certain roles, and guide Rihanna with a couple of ornamental vocal in the song “We Are the World (3): We are raising awareness of the world 2 disasters,” the fee, but there is no fee around: None of the other impressions which were all impressive (even Bill Hader did not do anything with Eddie Vedder), and about three-quarters of the jokes are not in fact, as well, and jokes. Some of them were very vague, and some lacked any sense of humor, and others died purely based on the lack of response from the public (which is rare for the signal). The fee certainly were not a failure, but no song and not impressions felt like they added up to anything worth watching. [Grade: C] Lopez got off to a rough start Similarly, in what was, perhaps, in a monologue the weakest in recent memory for several reasons. First, they do not understand “I have matured” monologue with Ashton Kutcher in the new episodes of the past, and second there were not actual jokes: Lopez is not out of the race beyond the redundant (but appreciated) which is rotated at the end to show off her personality, joking with Dante did not in fact, as you know, funny. As a person who watches television, and “secret celebrity boss” drawing was more effective than the cold open: best impressions (the present and Richard Branson’s much fun), and CBS enjoyable to make fun of. The problem, in fact, is that any one but I’m Gasteyer should play Martha Stewart, especially given the lack of basic cultural cache current. [Grade: B]

It was also updated on a weekend, and I will give them this: they are stuck with two of the “interview” segments, which works better at the end of the day.  And left the “best” for last: I had some friends who were kind enough to uphold me for an hour and a half, and immediately they want to know what I was going to write about them often pathetic, often flat, sometimes excruitating presentations (in particular, “J. blows thrown” out). To be honest, I’m impressed she sang live at all, even if it was a little upset that I was away from my DVR for the evening and was unable to jump through the offers after a certain point.
