ESPN commentator Erin Andrews has been included among the cast for “Dancing With the Stars”, which was announced on Monday. At a moment, it might appear that for Andrews, basically a journalist this notoriously skimpy star stunt might be a rare choice. Andrews is known for a hidden-camera recording of her mostly undressed body in a hotel room last summer. The video named “peephole video” dominated all over tabloids and the Web for sometime. Now, months after the event, a Google search on “Erin Andrews” will list down “peephole video as the first related search. She later addressed the incident on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” as a “nightmare” and added, “I did nothing wrong, and I’m being treated like . . . Britney Spears.”
Whatever, Andrews is very much interested to take part in DWTS. She had announced her interest last May in an interview with The Sporting News, saying that she would jump at if she got a chance to be on “DWTS.” ”I want to do it, because I think I’d be good at it,” she told The Sporting Blog. “That’s the big push,” she continued. “I would love it love it love it. I want to be like, ‘Who do I call? Let’s do this.’ ” Meantime, Kate Gosselin’s decision to participate “DWTS” has enraged her former husband Jon Gosselin. Kate, mother of eight was also found a place in a list for the show. It is known that Jon did not like Gosselin to appear on the show as their children will lose mother for some days. ”Jon’s angry because doing ‘Dancing With the Stars’ will keep her away from the kids for days, and she still won’t let him have any extra custody,” a source very close to Jon said “Nannies will watch them instead of Jon.”
