Lady Gaga and Rihanna are riding high off their current hits from their latest albums, “Rated R” and “The Fame Monster,” including Rihanna’s current #1 “Rude Boy” and Gaga’s Top 5 hits “Bad Romance” and “Telephone.” Now in an effort to cash in on their recent chart status, their albums are getting the remix treatment.

Lady Gaga is up first, releasing “The Remix,” on May 2nd. The album, already released in a different version in Japan, features previously remixed and new remixes of tracks from “The Fame” and “The Fame Monster,” from remixers like Frankmusik, Passion Pit, Stuart Price, Richard Vission, and Alphabeat. The 17-track set also features reworkings of new singles “Alejandro” by Sound of Arrows and “Dance in the Dark” by Monarchy.

Rihanna is also getting the remix treatment for her album “Rated R.” Simply titled “Rated R: Remixed,” the album features 10 tracks from Rihanna’s latest given the electronic treatment by remixer Chew Fu. His remixes of “Hard” is already on iTunes and his “Russian Roulette” treatment was also released. The rest of the set features his dance floor-ready take on songs like “Photographs,” “Rock Star 101,” “Wait Your Turn,” “Rude Boy.” Chew Fu also contributes a previously released remix of “Love Game” to Gaga’s album, featuring Marilyn Manson. The album is set for release on May 25th, a few weeks before she embarks on her “Last Girl on Earth” tour.

Rihanna and Lady Gaga aren’t the only divas getting the remix treatment this summer. Mariah Carey teamed up with the Jump Smokers to give her “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel” album an electronic twist. The album features the Jump Smokers signature sound on tracks like “Obsessed,” “Betcha Gon Know,” “Angels Cry,” and “Languishing.”
