ESPN commentator Erin Andrews has been included among the cast for “Dancing With the Stars”, which was announced on Monday.  Whatever, Andrews is very much interested to take part in DWTS. She had announced her interest last May in an interview with The Sporting News, saying that she would jump at if she got a chance to be on “DWTS.”  ”I want to do it, because I think I’d be good at it,” she told The Sporting Blog. “That’s the big push,” she continued. “I would love it love it love it. I want to be like, ‘Who do I call? Let’s do this.’ ” Meantime, Kate Gosselin’s decision to participate “DWTS” has enraged her former husband Jon Gosselin. Kate, mother of eight was also found a place in a list for the show. It is known that Jon did not like Gosselin to appear on the show as their children will lose mother for some days.    ”Jon’s angry because doing ‘Dancing With the Stars’ will keep her away from the kids for days, and she still won’t let him have any extra custody,” a source very close to Jon said “Nannies will watch them instead of Jon.”

The new lineup for this season of the ABC’s famous celebrity dance competition ‘Dancing With The Stars’ is scheduled be announced today. According to reports, former American Idol judge Paula Abdul’s is said to be a probable contestant for the upcoming ‘Dancing With The Stars’ show this year. However, some reports say that Paula won’t be a part of the show, but instead Kate Gosselin will be a contestant.

‘Dancing with the Stars’ is currently in it’s 10 year and the lineup for this season is set to be announced today with the show finally premiering on Monday, March 22, 2010. Last season of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ saw some big stars like Mya, Kelly Osbourne among others shaking a leg on the famous dance show.

American Idol Last Night Show

Survivor: Schoonie

 After the last tribal council, things are glossed over quickly at the Heroes tribe, as if nothing ever happened, which is kind of disturbing. Meanwhile, Parvati is getting her sexy on at the villains tribe, and people are noticing that Russell seems to be getting a little too close to her. When the immunity challenge ends up being a wrestling competition with no puzzle component, the Heroes unsurprisingly run away with it, because they’re all brawn and no brains. The Villains try to choose between sending Randy home for being too old and sending Parvati home for being too sexy. Randy keeps trying to tell everyone that the Amanda/Cirie/James alliance is going to join up with Parvati and run the game, but no one listens and they send him home, even though I’m kind of afraid that he’s right this time. Either way, he’s going to have to go be racist somewhere else.

 American Idol: Flipit

 It’s a season of some seriously crappy talent, but the eliminations last night we just downright bizarre. Janell, Ashley, Joe and Tim were sent packing while Lacey and her Ronald McDonald hair stayed. HUH? I knew Joe was in trouble cuz he looks like a monkey and America generally doesn’t like that look. Also, he spoke some Spanish, which America also apparently doesn’t like. I have no idea if we are a racist country or not, but when he started giving his family shout out on the performance show I turned to my friend and said “Americans don’t like Spanish. It’s like a secret language. You know you’re being made fun of but you don’t know about what and ’sticks and stones’ in Spanish doesn’t rhyme, leaving you defenseless.” Sure enough, GONE.

 Kris and Cholaheta performed, and Chola in particular reminded us what this show can bring if you just give it a little time to become a ripe banana, as Ellen would say. I’m sticking with it!

 America’s Best Dance Crew: PottyMouth

On last night’s America’s Best Dance Crew, Omoron continued to live up to his name, Lil Mama has turned herself into a Lil Meemaw, and JC got booed a lot by the audience. Shut up, audience. This week’s challenge was the Music Video Challenge where crews had to incorporate moves from, you guessed it, a music video into their routine. But wait! There’s a twist! When they perform the moves, the video play on a screen behind them so the judges can see how well they do. Or don’t. Come back for the full recap and we can talk about each crew, and my disappointment over one of the crews in the bottom. Betcha know which one!

It was our first results show for American Idol Season 9 and I’m a little surprised with the two guys who were voted out.  What a shame for Tyler Grady who sang “American Woman”.  It might not have been his best vocal performance but he deserved another chance.  I loved his Jim Morrison look and think he could have done well if given the opportunity.

The same with Joe Munoz.  I blame this on idol.  They gave him absolutely no face time until it was announced he was in the top 24.  AI should give equal camera time to the ones who are singing for our votes.  I understand they don’t know at the time they are traveling around the county but when they get to Hollywood week there is plenty of time to make sure all 24 are shown to the public.

I have a question, why is Tim Urban still there?  He does NOT deserve it.  He sang like crap.  He couldn’t hit the high notes and should in no way be in the competition.  What a disgrace for him to be there and Joe and Tyler at home.  I don’t get it.

Ashley Rodriguez and Janell Wheeler was no big shocker.  Although Lacey Brown gave the worst performance for the girls, Ashley and Janell were a close second so it doesn’t surprise me they went home.  I hope Lacey chooses a better song next week and gives us a great show.

Two former idol contestants came back to sing.  The first was Allison Iraheta who sang “Scars” the second single from her debut album.  She sounds great live and I enjoyed it.

The second was last year’s winner Kris Allen.  He officially kicked off Idol Gives Back with his tribute to Haiti.  He sang The Beatle’s “Let It Be”. ”It is heartbreaking to see the devastation that Haiti is currently facing,” said Allen before leaving on his trip, as quoted by American Idol News. “I am truly honored to be traveling to Haiti to see the U.N.’s relief efforts first hand and to help out in any way that I can.” It was upsetting to see the video playing in the background while he sang and I want to encourage all of you to download Kris’s song from itunes as this will help aid in relief efforts.

Apple (AAPL) launched the iTunes Music Store in the U.S in April of 2003. By the end of the year, it had sold more than 25 million songs. By February 2006, that number had risen to one billion. Now, just four years later, it’s passed another landmark: 10 billion songs sold. Astonishing — more so, when you recall that it was just 18 months ago that Apple was crowing about crossing the five billion songs sold threshold.

“This has been the birth of legal downloading,” Apple CEO Steve Jobs said of iTunes when it first launched in 2003. “We’re going to fight illegal downloading by competing with it. We’re not going to sue it. We’re not going to ignore it. We’re going to compete with it. With iTunes you’re supporting artists. You’re not stealing. It’s good karma.”

It’s good karma. Clearly, it has been that. Especially for Apple, which has used it to become America’s No. 1 music vendor in less than seven years.
