Are you looking for American Idol Results? Who got voted off American Idol April 21, 2010? American Idol Top 6 results have been announced last night and Sadly Tim Urban has to leave the Top 7. It’s not good news for Tim fans but according to results Tim had to leave the show. Its game rule so everyone has to follow it and on elimination show someone has to leave.

We know it’s very difficult to leave a show like American Idol. On elimination show Tim Urban sang “Better Days” but his performance was not so much impressive and judges didn’t like it. This week Aaron Kelly, Casey James and Tim Urban were in bottom three and they had to wait for two hours for the results. So Kelly was safe for one more week but she will have to work really very hard. On Wednesday Annie Lennox was also appeared on the show as a guest and she performed live. The elimination show began with President Obama brief speech about aiding. He said, “To this year’s finalists, as Randy says, “You’re all my dawgs,”

Yesterday Tim’s dream to be the next American Idol ended as he couldn’t get the audience support and received a few votes. For his singing he was constantly criticized by judges but in the and Tim said no matter if he couldn’t fulfill his dream but this show has been one of the biggest turning points of his life. Top six contestants are Crystal Bowersox, James and Kelly, Lee Dewyze, Siobhan Magnus and Michael Lynche

Crystal Bowersox People Get Ready

Crystal Bowersox People Get Ready

Crystal Bowersox People Get Ready

Crystal Bowersox turned in another powerhouse performance on “American Idol” Inspirational Songs week for “Idol Gives Back.”

She chose “People Get Ready” by The Impressions and her emotional singing left nary a dry eye in our section at the taping.. Crystal said onstage that she became choked up because it was the first time her dad had been to see her perform on “Idol.” He looked cool as a cucumber in his shades, but we bet he was pretty touched behind the glasses.

Crystal has been the frontrunner for weeks now but it was nice to see her open up a bit. Her personality perhaps doesn’t come through as best it could — perhaps because she seems flawless. She rarely has an off night and even those have only tiny mistakes.

We also loved seeing her completely instrument free and dressed to the nines. She looked gorgeous and she tells Zap2it, “Just because I have dreadlocks doesn’t mean I can’t be elegant. I don’t have to wear jeans … I’m a woman.”

Dancing With The Stars Elimination April 20

Dancing With The Stars Elimination April 20

Kate gosselin, who got voted off dancing with the stars april 20, dancing with the stars april 19, dancing with the stars results april 20, dancing with stars,
The Dancing With the Stars April 20 voting results should be the end of Kate Gosselin. Will the Dancing With the Stars April 20 voting results for Kate Gosselin and Tony Dovolani be

helped immensely by fan voting, or will they finally be the couple removed from the show? It looks like it is about time that they be the couple voted off of Dancing With the Stars, because the excuses are just getting very tired, and it’s quite clear that she doesn’t really have the drive to be on the show. There are dozens of excuses that Kate Gosselin will use for her terrible performance this past week, but maybe she should have gone on fewer talk shows and practiced a bit more.

On the Dancing With the Stars April 19 performance show, ABC aired its typical behind the scenes moments with Gosselin and Dovolani, as they set themselves up with excuses as to why they might perform terribly on the show. Now we wait to see if they were again able to pull the wool over the eyes of viewers.

It was a ridiculous performance at this point in the Dancing With the Stars 2010 season, and it’s quite possible that the judges were still too nice when they gave Kate Gosselin and Tony Dovolani a score of 15 out of 30. It was by far the worst score of the night, but that hasn’t really played into the combined voting before, as enough audience votes have countered what the judges have said.

It all presents the question of whether the April 20 Dancing With the Stars Results Show will be the last one for Kate Gosselin and Tony Dovolani this season. Her improvement on the dance floor has stopped, she obviously isn’t putting in the same effort as many of the other contestants, and her weekly antics just get harder and harder to watch with each episode.

While Kate Gosselin has brought ratings in to ABC this season, it has really been for all the wrong reasons, and now she is just embarrassing the show each time she is saved by her fans. Now it’s starting to look like those fans aren’t actually watching the show, but are voting through speed-dial without actually seeing how dreadful her presentation has become. It’s time that this couple just bowed out of the reality competition.

dancing with the stars april 6 2010

dancing with the stars april 6 2010

Ten becomes nine as Dancing with the Stars cuts its second couple of Season 10. Who followed Shannen Doherty out the door? Was it another shocking boot? Find out below! Oh, boy, people. Tom tweets yet again that we have another bottom 2 surprise. Who could it be? Well, we find out right away who it’s not:

First two safe couples:

Aiden and Edyta (She’s shocked. Where’s the faith, girl?)

Erin and Maks

Len goes through his laborious recap. In case you already forgot: Everyone was OK except for the ultra-crappy Kate and Buzz, Nicole broke the rules, and Evan rocked. The only interesting part: Len thinks he should’ve given Erin a 6 instead of a 7. So when does Bruno admit he shouldn’t have given Nicole a 9?

Top-scorers Evan and Anna get the encore, which is followed by Reba McEntire (Part 1) performing “I Want a Cowboy.” Maks, Val, Edyta and Snejana don their hottest cowboy and cowgirl get-ups for an even hotter country western number. (As Tom says, it’s nice to see three Russians and a Pole do country western.) Reba then unabashedly names Erin, Evan and Nicole as her favorites. “There are bitter people backstage right now,” Tom says.

 Next safe couple:

Niecy and Louis

Derek, Chelsie and Mark (on guitar) follow with an acoustic paso doble. Derek had touted this as a very cool and different performance — and it is. But I’m always partial to strpped-down tunes. On top of that, the choregraphy was exciting, tight and dramatic. See, Kate? This is what a paso doble looks like. The only distracting thing about the number is the new patch of peach fuzz on Derek’s lip. Second week in a row! Did he fashion it with his shaven cheess hair? Sorry, that’s gross.

Time for another Len Commandment: In addition to receiving two scores next week (one for technique and one for performance), couples must also do specific moves chosen by the judges. “Season 10 is turning into season tension,” he says. Get it? Har har.

Next safe couple:

Nicole and Derek

After Reba McEntire (Part 2) — featuring a stellar routine by Lacey and Dmitry —Melissa Rycroft returns for a piece on being a Dancing audience member. Seriously, why didn’t they just make her co-host? Among the revelations: There are 720 seats in the house, and Bruno likes to shake his junk in front of our faces when he is introduced to the stage. Family show, dude.

Next two safe couples:

Evan and Anna

Chad and Cheryl

Backstage, Brooke continues to conduct awkward interviews. Never thought I’d say this, but Sam was way more of a natural at this. Brooke has gotten slightly better, but I guess going the opposite route would’ve been impossible. However, someone needs tell to her to ask something else other than “How does it feel?” Except when it offers gems like this: Chad tells her that he’s happy to be safe, especially given his dance next week: the rumba. “It’s the dance of love, so why not make love on the dance floor?” he says. “Next week will be on pay-per-view, you should know now,” Tom quips.

Dancing with the Family

Fluffy package time! The cast gets really close, guys, like a family. Niecy is the mother who encourages her “thin, beautiful children to eat.” Aiden and Jake are close, if only because of the proximity of their trailers. Cue totally scripted scene of Aiden inviting Jake to the studio on the steps of their trailers. Kate and Erin are really tight and text during the week. Not surprising because Maks and Tony are BFFs.

 Next safe couple:

Pamela and Damian

 Bottom two couples:

Buzz and Ashly

Jake and Chelsie Lame, Tom. How is this a “surprise”? Not that shocking that Jake is in there. Is it a surprise Buzz is in the bottom two because he’s, as he says, a patriot? Pandering for votes doesn’t always work.

That, of course, means Kate and Tony are safe! I think we’ll endure a few more weeks of her, unfortunately. She can outlast the “middle pack,” especially if the judges continue to hand out the same scores to multiple couples like they often do (three pairs earned a 21 this week). I will give her credit for one thing though: No scowl this time around. And the couple leaving us is… Buzz and Ashly! “I’m proud of you,” Ashly tells him as they get a standing O. Buzz was horrible and should go, but what does it say about our country’s morbid curiosity that Kate, who was abysmal, wasn’t even in the bottom two? Le sigh. Buzz says he did the show for all the fighter pilots, military people and “elder geezers” out there, but most of all, he did it to promote our space program. Respect. “When I was 14 years old, watching you on a black-and-white set, I never thought I would have this moment,” Tom tells him. And with that, the whole cast salutes the lunar ambassador.

What did you think? Was Buzz the correct boot? Were you surprised Jake was in the bottom two? What will it take for Kate to get axed? Do you think Erin and Kate are text buddies? How great were the pro dances? Are you looking forward to next week’s two-score format? How R-rated will Chad and Cheryl’s rumba be? Who’s your current pick to win?

Dancing with the Stars Week 3

Dancing with the Stars Week 3

Dancing with the Stars Week 3

Last week, our stars learned an important lesson: the judges’ votes alone will not save you, and this is anyone’s game. It’s critical that each couple connect with the audience and get viewers to pick up the phone and vote. This week, each couple was tasked with telling a story through their dance. Because this is apparently a difficult concept to grasp, the show opened with a group of DWTS professionals demonstrating the same story told through different styles of dance. So, to recap: each couple will be dancing the waltz, the paso doble, or the quickstep, and each dance must tell a story. Was it the best of times, or the worst of times? Let’s find out ….

Evan and Anna – Quickstep: Their story was about a husband and wife, and the wife is late, so they fight. Like an episode of I Love Lucy, but with the music of Chicago. Nebulous concept aside, this was an adorable routine. Evan is naturally charming, and his charisma played out beautifully here. His technique was solid, he kept pace with the music, and it was great fun to watch. Len said he was cheered up but Evan needs to work on his footwork, Bruno agreed with Len, and Carrie Ann called it “twinkling.” Also, Evan is dancing on broken toes, so keep that in mind. Whatta guy. Scores: 9-8-9.

Buzz and Ashly – Waltz: I’m glad Buzz was given the waltz, something nice and slow. The story: Buzz is returning home from war to his daughter (all together: awwww). Questionable technique aside, it was difficult to not be moved by this performance. They had a great story, a great song, and even though it was far, far from perfect, I think this routine will strike a chord with voters. Bruno said the dance never went anywhere, Carrie Ann connected with their story, and Len said it had an innocent charm but the technique was poor. Scores: 5-4-4. Jake and Chelsie – Quickstep: Before their rehearsal footage started, I was worried their story was going to be about Jake being the Bachelor. For serious. As it turns out, they were dancing to “Walk Like an Egyptian” and Jake has been cast as a “safari guy” (Chelsie’s words) who awakens Cleopatra. There was a brief moment of drama as Jake acts like a woman during rehearsal and storms out when Chelsie tries to correct him. While the rehearsal footage was playing, DWTS magicians turned the set into a recreation of WDW’s Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular, and this dance was an example of a clever theme hiding a lot of flaws. Jake’s footwork was sloppy at times, and his dancing was nowhere near as good as Evan’s, but Chelsie’s choreography kept things so interesting that it didn’t really matter. Carrie Ann loved the storytelling but said Jake’s legs were soft, Len said his dancing looked heavy, and Bruno said the production value was incredible and their performance was good. Scores: 7-7-7. Niecy and Louis – Waltz: These two were portraying an interracial couple in the 1960s, which is pretty heavy stuff for DWTS, and serious drama is wayyyy outside Niecy’s wheelhouse, and honestly … meh. I understand that the producers were trying to push Niecy outside her comfort zone, but it feels too early in the season for that. America doesn’t want to see sad, serious Niecy – we want to see sassy, silly Niecy. As for the dancing, there were some awkward moments at the beginning, but they hit their stride in the middle and the rest of the dance was lovely. Len said she needs to work on her technique, Bruno said the dance was acted well but she stumbled over the beginning, and Carrie Ann said she didn’t understand the ending of their dance. Scores: 7-7-7.

Chad and Cheryl – Paso Doble: Finally, a paso doble, and one that Chad claims is “art imitating life.” Their story is a classic Latin one – Chad is trying to seduce Cheryl, who wants nothing to do with him. And because the sarcophagus earlier wasn’t enough, this routine’s props included decorating the interview suite to look like a margarita bar, and enlisting Tony Dovolani and Jonathan Roberts to dress as a mariachi band. Chad’s technique still leaves a lot to be desired and he was making weird faces throughout the routine, but he definitely captured the spirit of the paso doble. Bruno, in what might be the weirdest reference I’ve ever heard on this show, yelled “You released the Kraken!” and then said Chad danced like a Kraken, which is officially my new favorite insult. Carrie Ann said he was miles improved over last week, and Len said he needs to work on his posture. Scores: 7-6-7.

Pam and Damian – Paso Doble: Pamela is playing a gypsy dancer in love with a matador, but she is totally against what he stands for. Get it? Because Pam is the face of PETA and matadors senselessly kill bulls for sport? Offhand, it sounds like a complicated thing to translate into dance, and then Charo stopped by rehearsals to help with some of the flamenco elements and make jokes about maracas. Right off the bat, their opening move went awry when Pam couldn’t stand up from a slide. Pam looked crazed through most of this routine – either she was getting carried away with the acting or carried away trying to remember the steps. As much as I like Pam, this was messy, and I didn’t get the animal rights piece of this at all. Carrie Ann said Pam has an artistry about her, Len said she needs to be more refined, and Bruno said he would like to see her come back and prove to everyone there’s more to her than the bombshell exterior. Scores: 7-7-7. Aiden and Edyta – Quickstep: This story was cool – Aidan was playing a painter who is painting the woman of his dreams when she suddenly comes to life. Mannequin + Weird Science + ballroom dancing. I like it. This was a slower quickstep but it was frothy and fun. Aiden is steadily improving, although he still has a long way to go on his technique. Len said the dance felt too careful, Bruno said it looked a little too skippy at times, and Carrie Ann praised Aiden’s newfound confidence but said he’s dancing too light on his feet. Scores: 7-6-7. Erin and Maks – Waltz: I wish they had been given a paso doble, but alas – their story was about trust, and Erin danced blindfolded. Not much of a story, but this was a heckuva dance. Erin has a natural grace that flows through everything she does, and the result was a sexy, sultry waltz. And she gets major kudos for dancing blindfolded – a DWTS first. Bruno said she’s a great dancer who needs to finish her moves, Carrie Ann praised their storytelling and loved the use of the blindfold, and Len said there wasn’t enough waltz in their waltz. Scores: 8-7-8. Kate and Tony – Paso Doble: Boooo, Kate Gosselin’s life is hard. She has paparazzi following her all day and needs to express her frustration through ballroom dance. (A thought: if you don’t want paparazzi to follow you, don’t go on reality shows.) Tony brought in an acting coach, and then Kate tried to appeal to all the mom voters by saying she’s busy thinking about cooking dinner. Because I’m sure Kate is cooking her own dinners these days. You’re not fooling anyone, Gosselin. And then, sigh, the dance. In a word, Kate is clunky. There’s no other way to say it. She’s clunky, it’s uncomfortable. Also, the dance ended with Kate clutching Tony’s leg, so the point is … Kate cannot live without the paparazzi? No disagreements here, but is that really the message she was trying to send? Carrie Ann said it was hard to watch, Len said it was pedestrian, and Bruno said her character didn’t translate into dancing. Scores: 5-5-5. Nicole and Derek – Quickstep: The story was cute from the start – two sailors slacking off. And let’s just say there was a reason these two were picked to close the show. This was, in the truest sense, a showstopping routine. Fun, relaxed, and technically solid – what more can you as for? Len said they broke the rules of the quickstep and disrespected the judges, Bruno said it was an incredible performance but they shouldn’t have broken the hold, and Carrie Ann called foul on the lift and the hold-breaking but wants a front-row seat at the encore performance. Scores: 8-6-9. Who will be sent home? I’m wishing on my lucky star that Kate is sent packing, but she survived last week, so maybe she’ll stick around to dance another dance. After Kate, I think Buzz and possibly Niecy may be in trouble.

erykah badu window seat video

erykah badu window seat video

Erykah Badu to merge one of the most popular music videos in recent memory with one of the most infamous moments in American history: In “Window Seat,” the second video off her New Amerykah Part Two (Return Of The Ankh), Badu combines Matt & Kim’s stripping-in-Times Square clip for “Lessons Learned” with the Kennedy assassination, shooting her one-take video in the exact same Dallas intersection where President Kennedy was killed in 1963. Badu removes articles of clothing throughout her walk down the grassy knoll, and as just as Matt & Kim’s “Lessons Learned” ends with Kim being killed by a bus, Badu’s death — like Kennedy’s — comes from a sniper’s bullet. The music video was even shot in a blurry style that mirrors all the home movie footage that now serves to document the Kennedy assassination. In the video, Badu is making a statement against “group think,” saying in a voiceover in the closing seconds, “They play it safe, and are quick to assassinate what they don’t understand.”

Badu has been on a Twitter spree since the video was unveiled yesterday, answering fan questions and relaying her experience walking naked down a crowded Dallas street in the middle of St. Patrick’s Day. “They were yelling , THIS IS A PUBLIC PLACE : YOU OUGHTA BE ASHAMED : PUT YOUR CLOTHES ON : DAMN GIRL!,” Badu tweeted. “Heard people yelling diff things @ me but i held my head up and kept moving.there were children there. i prayed they wouldn’t b traumatized…” Badu says no camera tricks were employed in the video and that she called Matt & Kim for advice and permission before shooting “Window Seat.” “Funny thing is, the physical nudity is nothing lol. i been naked all along in my words actions and deeds. thats the real vulnerable place,” Badu wrote on Twitter. For much more on Badu, be sure to check out our profile on the New Amerykah singer in the upcoming issue of Rolling Stone, on stands this Wednesday. Until then, check out Matt & Kim’s “Lessons Learned”:

latest finalist to be eliminated from "American Idol"

Paige Miles was the latest finalist to be eliminated from “American Idol” Wednesday night. It was a result that surely came as no surprise to followers of the show and likely even to the singer herself. The Florida native had initially impressed viewers with her big voice in the run-up to the finals, but she was criticized incessantly by the judges for her poor song choices. The constantly negative feedback likely began to affect her confidence and joy onstage. It sure seemed that way on Tuesday night, when Paige delivered a half-hearted, vocally shaky performance of “Against All Odds.” It was so bad that Randy was left to admit, “That was honestly terrible.” At that point, ”Idol” nation knew it was finally the end of the road for the once cheery 24-year-old, a contestant who after performing looked resigned to the fact that she would be eliminated
